General Operating Support

Unrestricted gifts to Friends of Saguaro National Park can be utilized to help fund basic operating expenses for the organization -- staff, rent, printing, phones, office supplies, etc.

These funds are necessary for us to be able to keep the doors open and the lights on . . . but often, these monies can be the most difficult for a nonprofit to raise. Friends of Saguaro keeps our general operating costs low; for the past fifteen years, our overhead and fundraising costs have been less than 15% of our total expenses.
