Volunteer opportunities at Saguaro National Park are available throughout the year -- offering something for all ages, and all ability levels.
Each year, some 1,000 volunteers provide the Park with nearly 40,000 hours of service -- time valued by the National Park Service at more than $800,000 in support each year.
Saguaro volunteers help with saguaro inventory and monitoring activities . . . they help with buffelgrass removal . . . they help with wildlife research projects . . . they help present environmental education programs . . . they help with trail maintenance . . . they help in the visitor centers . . . and much, much more . . . as they assist NPS staff to actively protect, support and interpret the resources of Saguaro National Park.
If you'd like to volunteer at Saguaro National Park, just contact the Friends of Saguaro office, or contact either visitor center at the park.
